Very Contemporary
Very Contemporary is een netwerk van hedendaagse kunstinstellingen in de Euregio Maas-Rijn. De partners van Very Contemporary zijn met elkaar verbonden via de taal van de hedendaagse kunst. Het grensgebied van Nederland, België en Duitsland is hun oefenterrein. Binnen een straal van 100 km biedt het netwerk een breed scala aan tentoonstellingen en evenementen, waarvan er veel op één dag kunnen worden bezocht. De locaties hebben elk een zeer individuele benadering en presenteren kunst op een aantrekkelijke manier.

Bereikbaarheid
Trein
Museum Hedendaagse Kunst De Domijnen ligt op loopafstand van NS-station Sittard. Neem de uitgang (tunnel) richting Stationsplein/Centrum. Neem in de centrale hal de uitgang links (taxistandplaats/halen en brengen). Steek schuin over richting Stationsstraat (voetgangerszone). Volg de winkelstraat via Stationsstraat en Steenweg tot aan de kruising met de Overhovenerstraat. Sla linksaf. Na ongeveer 150 meter rechtsaf de Walramstraat in. Volg deze tot aan de Rijksweg Noord en steek over. Het is nu nog 100 meter lopen tot aan het Ligne complex waarin het Museum Hedendaagse Kunst gevestigd is.
Met de auto vanuit Maastricht
A2 richting Eindhoven/Amsterdam, afslag 48 Urmond-Stein. Einde afslag rechtsaf richting Sittard. Ga daarna naar de N276 richting Limbricht/Born. Neem 1e afslag. Sla rechtsaf naar Limbrichterweg. Ga na de 2e rotonde linksaf naar Haspelsestraat. Het Ligne complex waarin het Museum Hedendaagse Kunst gevestigd is ligt na ca. 250 meter rechts. Parkeren kan in de Ligne Parking of Odaparking. Ligne Parking is direct onder het Ligne complex gelegen. De parkeergarage telt 386 parkeerplaatsen is dagelijks geopend van 7.00 tot 22.00 uur. De ingang ligt aan de Haspelsestraat.
Fysieke beperking?
In de Ligne Parking zijn speciale parkeerplaatsen voor rolstoelgebruikers of mensen met een andere fysieke beperking gereserveerd. De lift bevindt zich aan de uitgang, dichtbij de parkeerautomaat. De toegangen tot het Ligne complex zijn rolstoelvriendelijk. Binnen de gebouwen zijn liften en aangepaste toiletruimtes aanwezig.

Very Contemporary
Very Contemporary is a network of contemporary art institutions in the Meuse-Rhine Euregion. The Very Contemporary partners – all located in the border area between the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany – are connected through the language of contemporary art. Within a radius of 100 km, the network offers a wide range of exhibitions and events, many of which can be visited on the same day. Each of the locations has a very individual approach and presents art in an engaging way.

How to get there
Train
Museum Hedendaagse Kunst De Domijnen is a short walk from Sittard train station. Take the exit towards Stationsplein/Centrum (through the tunnel) From the central hall, take the exit to the left (towards the taxi rank/pick-up and drop-off zone). Cross the street towards Stationsstraat (pedestrian zone). Follow the shopping street via Stationsstraat and Steenweg until you get to the crossing with Overhovenerstraat. Turn left. After about 150 metres, turn right onto Walramstraat. Follow this road until you reach Rijksweg Noord and cross over. It is just a 100-metres walk to the Ligne complex, where the museum of contemporary art is located.
By car from Maastricht
Follow the A2 towards Eindhoven/Amsterdam then take exit 48 at Urmond-Stein. At the end of the exit, turn right towards Sittard. Then take the N276 towards Limbricht/Born. Take the first exit. Turn right onto Limbrichterweg. After the second roundabout, turn left onto Haspelsestraat. You will find the Ligne complex, where the museum of contemporary art is located, on the right after about 250 metres. You can park at the Ligne car park or the Oda car park. The Ligne car park is directly underneath the Ligne complex. The car park has 386 parking spaces and is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The entrance is on Haspelsestraat.
Do you have a physical disability?
The Ligne car park has dedicated parking spaces for wheelchair users or people with other physical disabilities. The lift is located near the exit, close to the ticket machine. The entrances to the Ligne complex are wheelchair friendly. In the buildings there are lifts and accessible toilets.
